Well, I guess first of all, when we updated to the newer WordPress, I lost all my old tags.  So if you not only visited my site, but looked around for specific things and themes, I guess you a little out of luck.  Alas.

Fancy news is that I have a computer now.  No internet at the new apartment, but I for sure have a computer now.  This is the first computer that is absolutely mine.  Well, mine and the Girl’s, but I actually have significant ownership over this.  It’s an exciting time, to be sure.  More exciting if I had Internet, but I’ll deal with that eventually.

Other brief things worth noting include last night’s Fiesta Days Rodeo in Spanish Fork, which I will comment more on when I upload photos, and my imminent wedding to the Girl.  It is a mere fortnight hence.  I’m pretty pumped.  That’s what I’ve got now.

Dang it’s been a while since I done blogged.  Maybe if you jerks would keep up with my Twitter feed, it wouldn’t be a problem.  But since you’re jerks who don’t love me (I jest), I’m back here.  Actually, it’s because Jen updated me from Wordpress 2.1.3 to 2.6, so I felt a little obligated to post.  So, I scraped my memory for notable things that weren’t things I should’ve put on LtM anyhow.  This is what I’ve come up with.

1. The Girl is all moved in to what will be our apartment come August.  We just did the big opening shopping trip last night, which wasn’t terribly bad, but not great (it never is).  So the Girl is living in Salt Lake now, which is pretty awesome.  We’re finally living in the same county.
2. I’m on a big of an R.E.M. binge.  I listened to Fables of the Reconstruction, Document, Green, Out of Time, and Automatic for the People yesterday.  As a result of this kick, and my long-standing fascination with R.E.M. song titles, I renamed the entire Houston Texans starting lineup in Madden ‘04.  “Me In Honey” at quarterback, “Orange Crush” at middle linebacker, while “Crush With Eyeliner” plays wide receiver.  It doesn’t stop making me smile.
3. All this R.E.M. has also lead me to the decision that more songs should be freaking gorgeous.  And that segues nicely to my current challenge to make a post-rock mixtape for Jen.  Wish me luck, it’s not my genre by any means.

I think that’s all I’ve got right now.  I never did figure out what those two STP songs were, and now it’s too far from the show to remember how they sounded.  Maybe I’ll post that list anyhow.  Later.
